How You Can Help
Leave a charitable gift in your will
When making a will, we understand that your first priority will be to provide for your loved ones. However, many people find that after they have done this they want to leave some money to a charity or cause they hold dear, like their local NHS, especially if they have received good care. Giving a gift in your will is a lasting way to support our work for future generations.
LEGACY
Adding a charitable gift to your will is easier than you think
If you already have a will, simply contact your solicitor, and they can advise you and add the appropriate wording
If you would like to include a gift in your will to East Sussex Healthcare NHS Charity, all you need is our full name, East Sussex Healthcare NHS Charity and our registered number, 1058599. You can specify one of our hospitals, our community services, a department or a ward. Or you can leave your gift unrestricted which enables our charity to choose the area with the greatest priority at the time. Your solicitor can help you through the process. The law society provides a list of solicitors who can help. Click here to find a solicitor in your area.
In Memoriam
Donate in memory of a loved one
We often gratefully receive donations in memory of a loved one collected instead of funeral flowers. It’s very much appreciated. For those that wish we can enter a donor’s name, or their loved one, with a special message in our thank you book which we display outside one of the chaplaincies in our two acute hospitals. Message us if you’d like help with arranging a collection.
Bequests
If you’d like to make a larger bequest, then please contact our team who would be happy to speak to you about how this could be done.
